A week-long introduction

A joyous stay in an iconic london tea destination: The Landmark hotel. A chance to have finger sandwiches in a tropical lobby? Always fun. Palm trees hovering above a resident harpist: the space poises itself an urban oasis. Originally a railway hotel servicing Marylebone station in 1899, classic charm is totally in tact.

My only gripe being the extensive wait times and the mildly clunky service in the Winter Garden (we were one breakfast forced to venture to Pret....God forgive me) I'd head back for another round with confidence.

Thankful to have had my own gorgeous room adjoining my guest's, I did my utmost to make full use of the amenities.

The books had on rotation during my stay, and, an absolute must at every new inn jaunt: the Full English Breakfast Test. 6/10 (beats out the Ritz but nothing to write home about; a statement's humour of which is not lost on me).
